Barter for Service
Wouldn't the world be better if we could all barter for services???!! I think so!
I am happy to barter for services in lieu of cash payment. Please note the services bartered must be equal to the amount you would have spent on the doula support package.
For example, if you wanted 15 overnight support visits that were 10hours long (New Parent Support tab under Doula Services), the fee for that is $2,700; your barter service MUST be an equal amount OR you MUST pay the difference.
What services can be bartered?
I am currently looking for:
Tile service - need 3 bathrooms and kitchen tiled (2 full baths, 1 half bath)
Electrician - install overhead lights in living room, install ceiling fan in master bedroom, install new doorbell, replace electrical outlets in various locations, install new electrical outlets in kitchen, install outdoor ceiling fan on front porch
General handy-human - built in bookshelf, replace bathroom door with sliding barn door, install door where there isn't one! A long list of stuff!
Catering - TIME SENSITIVE - catering service for max 50 people for party in late September 2024, if you have wait staff and clean up crew, that's a plus!
Baker - TIME SENSITIVE - cake, pastry, cupcake, cheesecake; I need them all for max 50 people for party in late September
You get the point. Bottom line if you have a legit skill that can be used for home improvement or party services, AND want doula services with potentially paying a dime or at least a reduced cost, please email/ text/ call me!
